What Does a Photo Booth Rental Include?

A professional photo booth rental should include delivery, setup, and teardown, an on-site attendant, a custom-designed print or video layout, studio lighting, unlimited sessions during your rental window, instant digital delivery to guests’ phones, and an online gallery afterward. Prints, backdrops, and props are included or add-on depending on the package.

That’s the standard we hold ourselves to. But “photo booth rental” covers everything from that, down to an unattended iPad on a stand, so here is exactly what’s in the box, using our packages as the example, and what to confirm before booking anyone.

Included in every Ohh Snap rental

• Delivery, setup, and teardown. We arrive before your event, build the booth, and remove it after. You never touch equipment. Setup details are in our setup time article.
• A custom layout, designed in house. Our designers build the print layout or video overlay around your event, your names, your colors, your sponsor if it’s corporate. Here’s what a photo booth layout is if you’ve never picked one.
• Unlimited sessions. Guests can come back as many times as they want during your rental hours.
• Instant digital delivery. Photos, GIFs, and boomerangs go to guests by text or email on the spot.
• An online gallery. Every capture from the night, collected in one place. More on how gallery images work.

Included with specific booths

• A trained attendant stays with the booth for your entire rental on our portrait, glam, and 360 booths.
• Prints come with the portrait and glam booths. Package tier sets the print count; the Ultimate package is unlimited. Our social booth is digital only, which is also why it costs less.
• Studio lighting on the portrait, glam, and 360 booths. It’s the difference between a keepsake and a phone photo.
• Backdrops and props are included on portrait packages and available as add-ons elsewhere, including custom printed backdrops that are yours to keep.

• Travel beyond the local area. Here’s how our travel fees work.
• Extra hours added day-of, which we can usually accommodate.

Five questions that expose a thin rental

After hundreds of events, these are the gaps we see burn people who booked on price alone:

1. Is an attendant present the whole rental, or is it drop-off?
2. Is the layout designed for my event, or a template?

4. Do guests get their photos instantly, and do I get a gallery?
