How Much Space Does a 360 Photo Booth Need?

A 360 photo booth needs about a 20x20 foot area of indoor or covered space. That’s roughly four times the footprint of a standard photo booth, which needs about 10x10.

The number looks big until you see what’s inside it:

1. The platform guests stand on.
2. The camera arm’s swing. The camera rotates a full circle around the platform, and nothing, and nobody, can be inside that circle while it moves.
3. A safety buffer. Guests step on and off a raised platform all night, often in formalwear. Clear space around the platform is what keeps that safe, and it’s why our 360 is always attendant operated.
4. The line. The 360 draws one all night; it needs somewhere to stand that isn’t a walkway.

When you book the 360 booth, we plan placement with you or your coordinator before the event: sightlines to the dance floor, the line’s path, and the clearances. If your room is tight, tell us the dimensions and we’ll say honestly whether the 360 fits or whether a more compact booth serves the space better.
